Ginger
Ginger contains gingerols and shogaols that reduce inflammatory signaling. Trials associate intake with lower CRP and improvements in pain and swelling.
Ginger helps limit inflammatory mediators that drive chronic pain and stiffness.
Ginger inhibits prostaglandins, leukotrienes, and NF-κB. Meta-analyses show reduced CRP (~–0.84 mg/L). Trials in osteoarthritis show pain and swelling improvements. Fresh, powdered, teas, and supplements are available; caution with anticoagulants.
