Hip Cast Section

This cast is used to immobilize the upper leg, hips, and lower back. It extends from the belly down to the ankle or toes and can be made of plaster or fiberglass. 

Fractures: Femur Fractures, Hip Joint Fractures (pediatric fractures)

Cylinder Cast Section

This cast is used to immobilize the upper and lower leg. It extends from the upper thigh down to the ankle.

Fractures: Tibia/Fibula Fractures, Femur Fractures, Knee Fractures or Dislocations

Long Leg Cast Section

This cast is used to immobilize the lower thigh, knee, lower leg, and ankle. It usually extends from the upper thigh to the toes. 

Fractures: Tibia/Fibula Fractures, Femur Fractures, Knee Fracture or Dislocations

Patella Tendon Bearing Cast Section

This cast is used to immobilize the upper and lower leg, as well as the knee joint. It extends from the knee down to the foot.

Short Leg Cast Section

This cast is used to immobilize the lower leg, ankle, and foot. It usually extends from the lower leg to the toes. 

Fractures: Tibia/Fibula Fractures, Fibula Fractures, Ankle Fractures, Foot Fractures
