The MR4 LaserStim is a therapeutic device that combines cold laser treatment, also known as photobiomodulation, with electrical stimulation. During treatment, the device is applied to a focused area based on the patient’s symptoms, examination findings and treatment goals.
Potential uses may include support for muscle and tendon irritation, joint-related pain, nerve sensitivity, post-injury recovery and selected chronic musculoskeletal conditions. The exact treatment plan depends on the diagnosis, the area being treated and the patient’s response."
Musculoskeletal pain, nerve sensitivity and soft-tissue irritation can limit movement and daily function. MR4 LaserStim therapy may offer a noninvasive adjunctive option that can be coordinated with a broader care plan, including activity modification, bracing, rehabilitation, medications, injections, imaging review or follow-up evaluation when appropriate.
MR4 LaserStim is not a stand-alone diagnostic test. Your provider may consider it after an evaluation for concerns such as muscle or tendon irritation, joint-related pain, nerve sensitivity, post-injury recovery, soft-tissue irritation and selected chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
At your visit, your provider will review your symptoms and determine whether MR4 LaserStim therapy is appropriate. The device is applied to the focused area, and treatment settings are adjusted based on the care plan. Most patients tolerate therapy well; some may notice mild electrical stimulation. The recommended number of sessions depends on the condition, symptom severity, treatment goals and response to therapy.
