Stairs or step

Strengthens the hamstrings and glutes while promoting balance and hip stability, helping to support the knee during movement.

Stand on a step or stairs with the balls of your feet on the edge and heels hanging off. Slowly lower one heel toward the floor while keeping the other leg slightly bent. Hold for 5–10 seconds to feel a stretch in the calf, then return to start. Repeat on each side. Use a railing for balance.

10 - 15 repetitions per leg - 2 sets

5 -10 seconds hold per repetition
