Opens the armpit and loosens the joint capsule to improve elevation
Shelf/counter
Opens the armpit and loosens the joint capsule to improve elevation
Using your good arm, lift the affected arm onto a shelf or countertop about breast height.
Slowly bend your knees to open the armpit area and gently stretch the shoulder.
With each knee bend, increase the stretch slightly without forcing it. Perform 10–20 repetitions per day.
